As part of my D.A.R.D.I.S. ambient sounds side project, I've a track as part of ATTN:SPAN, a compilation of 10-second tracks newly released by ATTN:Magazine.

The track, 'A Patchwork of Green Fields', is one of 206(!) tracks on the album, designed for shuffle playback, to experiment with how the individual sounds feed into and correlate to each other.

All proceeds from the album are donated to charity Cool Earth, who work with local people to halt deforestation and climate change.

The album is available for £5, which gives you unlimited streaming via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Since 2007, Cool Earth has worked alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation and its effect on climate change. Across 13 partnerships around the tropics, from Peru to Papua New Guinea, Cambodia to Cameroon, they are taking essential climate action to keep trees standing.

From setting up an in-country team to working directly with communities and local NGOs to develop their capacity, Cool Earth’s partnerships are community-led, agile and adaptable to each location.

VIRTUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

As we're all staying inside for the Easter, and not partaking in traditional egg hunts, I've hidden four Easter eggs around the pages of my website for you to find.

The eggs look like this: 🐣

Have a look around the website, and make a note of the web addresses (URLs) that the eggs are on.

If you can find all four, fill in the form on this page and you'll be entered into a competition to win a free copy of my latest book, The Dogs of Humanity!

Winner announced on Tuesday 14th April.    UPDATE: Well done to the winner, Stuart Buck!

My poem, "The New Normal", is the opening poem of a new e-chapbook from The /temz/ Review, "March 2020: A COVID-19 Anthology", and you can get a copy of it in a very unique way!

Just make a donation or purchase that supports an independent bookstore, a small press, an artist-support fund, a food bank, or a crisis fund for a disadvantaged or marginalized community. There is no minimum contribution amount.

Email your receipt to either 845 Press ([email protected]) or Collusion Books ([email protected]) to receive both a PDF copy of "March 2020: A COVID-19 Anthology" AND the access password to view another great online chapbook, "Is It Less Lonely Like This: isolation collaborations".

Receipts must be dated March 1, 2020 or later.
Support others. We are all in this together.
