Delighted to confirm I'll be reading alongside Ali Whitelock in Waterstones Belfast on Saturday, 7th September, 3pm.

Ali is a Scottish poet/writer, living in Australia. Her new poetry collection, ‘and my heart crumples like a coke can’ is published by Wakefield Press.

"Raw and beautiful and completely devoid of pretension, Ali Whitelock's poems will speak to anyone who's ever messed up, been confused, wished they'd done things differently; to anyone who's had an affair and regretted it, who's been loved completely but was too blind to see it."

Combining the two realms of poetry, and my D.A.R.D.I.S. sound art project, I will be releasing an album of ambient sounds to accompany the new collection.

You Fathomed Things: a soundtrack to 'The Dogs of Humanity' is designed to be listening to while reading the book. Rather than tracks matching specific moods, the half hour of sounds aim to project certain moods while progressing the poems.

The album will be available to stream and download for free on August 1st via Bandcamp.

Two further releases online today via Bandcamp from the DARDIS sound art project.

Under the Cement (Re-Mixer) contains a long form mix of 'Under The Cement' from the Kill Your Identify album, plus a guitar prelude to the forthcoming Industrial Moods album.

The Broca and Wernicke are Dead EP is inspired by my childhood experiences of having a speech impediment, and how understanding is sometimes not reached through talking. The struggle to find suitable, and deliverable, expression resonates through these tracks.
