I've started the Fill Your Books! blog of micro-interviews with writers and creatives talking about their favourite books and authors.

During lockdown, things were on pause as life demanded focus elsewhere. But now new interviews are online; each interview consists of five questions, highlighting current and past reading habits. Recent interviewees include Maureen Boyle, Glen Wilson, Tanya Farrelly, Colin Hassard and David Butler.

Sunday 19th July, 8pm

Fly on the Wall Press hosts a live reading from poet, editor and facilitator Colin Dardis.

Colin will be reading from his 2019 collection, The Dogs of Humanity, as well as previewing new work.

Colin’s work has been published widely throughout Ireland, the UK and the US, with poems listed in the Seamus Heaney Award for New Writing, Over The Edge New Writer of the Year Award, and Dermot Healy International Poetry Competition, amongst others. He co-runs Poetry NI, a multimedia platform for Northern Irish poets, and co-hosts Purely Poetry, the long-running monthly open mic night at Crescent Arts Centre.

The reading will be broadcast on the Fly on the Wall Press Performance group on Facebook.
