University of Atypical Individual Disabled Artist Award

2/10/2021

Big thanks to University of Atypical for selecting me as one of this year's recipients for their Individual Disabled Artist (iDA) Awards. The award will go towards assisting me in developing what I hope will become my next poetry collection!

I hope I can do well by UoA and help honour the memory of previous CEO Chris Ledger, who was a great support to me, as she was to so many others.

The iDA funding programme is a dedicated annual arts development scheme enabling deaf and disabled artists who are working in a range of art forms to develop their professional artistic careers.  The awards provide valuable opportunities for award recipients to produce new high-quality creative work, receive training or professional mentoring.
