KLEPSYDRA: DITTY ODE 02
released 16/06/2021, Default Standard Records 1. DSR klepsydra | Ditty Ode 02 A remix of an original track by melophobia, as part of DSR's ongoing Ditty Ode series. Mimicking melophobia's reproduction of sounds from a water clock, I looked elsewhere to see how water could sound: travelling through the pipes in a broken radiator, rainfall heard through a skylight, a shower in a forest. The original track had already provide a barrelful of sound; I wanted to cause ripples on the surface of the water, to slow everything down and revel in each drop. |
