Staccato and LEAF

I'm reading at the wonderful Staccato series in Dublin on Wednesday 10th April. Many thanks to Tanya Farrelly and David Butler for the invite to read.

I'll also be doing a workshop and reading as Deep Down's Lived Experience Arts Festival in the Ivy Bar, Newtownards on Saturday 18th May.

Creative writing workshop, 2:30-4.30pm
Come and join award-winning poet Colin Dardis in an introduction to writing poetry. Colin with show some basic techniques as well as teaching how to avoid common errors. This event is relaxed and open to anyone who wants to give writing poetry a try. £5 to cover costs.

Open Mic Poetry, 5-7pm
An opportunity for participants to have a go at reading poetry to a kind and supportive audience of poets! Colin Dardis will lead the way in reading from his collection 'the x of y', with the floor open to others. The event will also be open to those who just want to listen!, £5 to cover costs.
